Hi there scappy friends! I hope you are all doing well. I've had an awesome weekend at the HBS Retreat and met so many wonderful ladies. I was so tired yesterday, but can't wait to do it all again!!
I have only one layout to share today. Still got to finish the others off and will upload later in the week.
Decided to play along at Kraft It Up this month. I do really love working with Kraft cardstock. Should do it more often. This month was a sketch challenge and here is my take on it. The pics are of my friend's little boy (at almost 4) being a silly boy for his mom. Too cute. :)
I've used the Graphic 45 'Magic of Oz' range and I just totally love all the gorgeous elements that is so easy to fussy cut. You can find it here.
Used my Kaisercraft 'Grid' stamp in the top corner. Note to self: Use these stamps more often.
Loved cutting out all these silly figures. Perfect for a 'silly' page. :)
That's all for today. I've got to go and conquer the mountain of washing that built up over the weekend. DS went on a camp too. I'm getting there! :)
I hope you have a wonderful week. Thanks for visiting!
Until next time.

A quick share
Oh, if only there were more hours in the day...
Just want to do a quick share of layouts I've done over the weekend and completed yesterday. First is a layout using my DT pack from Handmade by Suzanne. I've picked out all the non-girly papers and created this page of DS and I. This is my entry for Bird is the Word's challenge using the word LOVE.
I've cut all the hearts using a Spellbinder die and then handstitched in straight lines using embroidery thread. I have seen another scrapper using a similar idea on their layout a while back, but I'm sorry that I can't remember who it was. :(
This simple card was made with some of the left overs of my DT pack. Love that seam binding. :)
A cluster of flowers that I cut from one of the pattern papers.
And a self cover button from Handmade by Suzanne that I covered in blue star fabric to represent the Aussie flag.
That's all for today. I've got to run. So much to do and so little time....
I am so looking forward to the Handmade by Suzanne Retreat this coming weekend! A whole weekend of uninterrupted scrapping. Yay!
My next post will probably only be after the weekend and I hope I'll have a lot to share... Lol! That's if I can stop chatting and get some scrapping done. :)
Thanks for stopping by and for your beautiful comments. They are very appreciated!
Until next time!

And a 'Just Because' layout I did with some older MME Stella & Rose 'Hattie' papers. My DH took this gorgeous pic on Australia Day 2007 as the sun was setting over Perth City.
I've used white and blue paint to create the cloud effect and the sun was cut using my Silhouette maching.A cluster of flowers that I cut from one of the pattern papers.

Weekend at last!
Hi there bloggy friends! Don't know about you, but I'm just a tad bit excited that its weekend! The week went really fast and I was very busy but weekends are just so much more relaxed. I haven't done an aweful lot of scrapping this week but I do have another layout created from my Handmade by Suzanne DT kit to share today. :) I really like the colours in the 'Miss Nelly' range and I just love how the black background in the pic goes with these papers.
I used my Crafter's Workshop 'Cherry Blossoms' template and white paint, then doodled in black pen around it. The red flowers were punched using the red dotted paper and the EK Success 'Flower Power' punch.
The pink felt rose was so easy to make using the Sizzix 3D Flowers Die. :)
And just love the Martha Stewart 'Garden Gate' Deep Edger punch.
I've entered this layout into Vicki's Challenge at Scrapbooking Top 50's Cyber Crop. The criteria can be found by doing a word search, so I can't reveal it yet. The CC ends this Sunday at midnight.
That's all for today! I hope you are all well and I wish you all a wonderful weekend! Thank you so much for visiting and for you lovely comments.
Take care.

More of 'Miss Nelly'
Happy Saturday everybody! Hope you are enjoying a good one. :) Just want to share another layout I did using my DT pack from Handmade by Suzanne. I did this layout for Sue's 'Scrap Bingo' challenge at Scrapbooking Top 50's August Cyber Crop. The pics are of my friend's little girl when she was 6 months old. Such a cutie! I just adore the 'Miss Nelly' range from Kaisercraft. All the products used are available at Handmade by Suzanne.
A close up of the rosette flower which is super easy to make using the Sizzix 'Tim Holtz' Rosettes die. The self cover button is new to HBS too and is so easy to use. After covering it I used a rose rubon over the top of it.
And I love the creased look on the seam binding which you can achieve by wetting it, scrunching it up and then leave it to dry before tying into a bow.
I used some of the same fabric for the banner as for covering the button. I painted some Ribbon Stiff on the fabric before cutting it so it wouldn't fray and then added the Pom Pom trim over the top for a fun touch.
That all for today. I'm planning to fit a bit of scrapping in this weekend, so will hopefully be back soon with another layout to share. Thank you so much for popping by and for your lovely comments. They really make my day.
Until next time.

Scrapbooking Top 50 Cyber Crop is on!
Scrapbooking Top 50's August Cyber Crop has kicked of last night! We had a blast playing Bingo and laughed until we cried (well, some of us did!). And I have a bit of exciting news... I am the Guest DT member this month and my challenge was revealed last night. Just wanted to share it with all of you here on my blog. All you have to do is to create a layout using the following PageMaps sketch for inspiration and include the word 'Play' in your title. You can find all the detail of my challenge here.
And here is my example layout using the October Afternoon 'Seaside' range.
The little girl is a sticker from this range that I stuck onto some cardstock and then lifted it using foam tape.
Why don't you head over to Scrapbooking Top 50 and check out all the other challenges too. You have until midnight, the 21st of August to complete them and there are some great prizes up for grabs! You can see all the CC details here.
That's all for today. I hope you are having a great week and that you can find some time to be creative.
Thanks for visiting!
Until next time.

August Sketch challenge
Hi there bloggy friends! Just want to share Handmade by Suzanne's August sketch with you all. Isn't it a beauty... and designed by Michelle Fowler, our own sketch guru. :)
The last of my Jenni Bowlin butterflies. :(
That's all for today. I'll be back with more layouts pretty soon. :)

Here is my take on the sketch using the awesome new Kaisercraft 'Miss Nelly' collection. That big scalloped die cut was just perfect for this sketch. The pic is of my DD back in 2007. I just love the look of joy on her face. :)
I've done a fair bit of hand- and machine stitching on here. The last of my Jenni Bowlin butterflies. :(
So why don't you give this gorgeous sketch a go? You could win yourself a $30 store voucher to spend at Handmade by Suzanne. The winner gets determined by random draw, so anybody can win! Just load your take on the sketch into the Gallery before midnight on the 31st of August. :)That's all for today. I'll be back with more layouts pretty soon. :)
Thanks for visiting and I have an awesome weekend!
