Happy Saturday everybody! Hope you are enjoying a good one. :) Just want to share another layout I did using my DT pack from Handmade by Suzanne. I did this layout for Sue's 'Scrap Bingo' challenge at Scrapbooking Top 50's August Cyber Crop. The pics are of my friend's little girl when she was 6 months old. Such a cutie! I just adore the 'Miss Nelly' range from Kaisercraft. All the products used are available at Handmade by Suzanne.
A close up of the rosette flower which is super easy to make using the Sizzix 'Tim Holtz' Rosettes die. The self cover button is new to HBS too and is so easy to use. After covering it I used a rose rubon over the top of it.
And I love the creased look on the seam binding which you can achieve by wetting it, scrunching it up and then leave it to dry before tying into a bow.
I used some of the same fabric for the banner as for covering the button. I painted some Ribbon Stiff on the fabric before cutting it so it wouldn't fray and then added the Pom Pom trim over the top for a fun touch.
That all for today. I'm planning to fit a bit of scrapping in this weekend, so will hopefully be back soon with another layout to share. Thank you so much for popping by and for your lovely comments. They really make my day.
Until next time.
