My boy is 17!

Just a quick post to celebrate my DS Mark's birthday! He is 17 today! The photo was taken 3 weeks ago just before the Year 12 Ball. I love this photo taken by my very talented photographer friend Kathy.
Lol! It turns out to be quite an emotional experience having a child in Year 12! Suddenly he looks so grown up, is learning to drive and in about 7 months time he will be finshed with school! He is enjoying all of this but I'm not sure I'm ready for it!!
Happy Birthday Mark! May all your dreams come true!

Happy Birthday to your dear boy Marelize, and yes the same day as mine, I agree he is gorgeous looking just like his mum, and I hope he has a fantastic day, 17 is such a crucial age I am guessing for young men, they grow so quickly, have a special time with him, Love Melxx

Lovely photo of your son! I agree, that it is very hard to see them grow up so fast. :( Sometimes I want to shrink my daughters back to little. :)

Hi Marelize, I can't believe you even have a 17 year old son! He is very handsome! Hope he had a great birthday. I find it hard coping with my 8 year old son growing up so fast (not to mention my 4 year old daughter) yikes I hope the years slow down for us all hey!
