Some more cards!

Just a couple more Christmas cards I've made last week. I've used my Silhouette machine for all of them.

2 Cards

I haven't done too much scrapping but I've made 2 cards! This one is for Week 6 of the "10 Weeks to Christmas Challenge" at Click n Scrap. It is based on a card sketch.
The next one is for Challenge 6 of the November CC at Scrapbooking Top 50. It was a card sketch but you had to pick one of five styles to use. I chose to go with the "whimsical" style. I had to use flowers, swirls/flourishes, rub-ons, doodling and a silhouetted picture.

Another 2!

This layout is based on the November Sketch at WIOIN. Photo is of DS and myself almost 2 years ago.
This is for Week 5 of the "10 Weeks to Christmas Challenge" at Click n Scrap. It is based on a Blind Scrap.
That's it for now. Hopefully I will have time for to do more scrapping soon - before the Silly Season takes over my life!!!

I've scrapped!!

Had an all day scrapping day yesterday and got some layouts done! Yay!! This one is for Sketch #35 at Inspired Blueprints. It was a lot of fun to do. Lol, the "naughty boy" in the photo is my hubby pulling faces behind his mother!
This layout is for Sara's Kit Challenge at Scrapbook Savvy. I got the "She's Savvy" kit, but there are also kits for boys and a general kit available every month. You can check it out here:
http://www.scrapbooksavvy.com.au/store/index.phpI'll be posting another 2 layouts tomorrow!

A new layout at last!

I have finally done another layout! This one is for Challenge 3 of the "10 Weeks to Christmas Challenge" at Click n Scrap. We had to use at least 10 photographs on one layout and the approach had to be 'More is more' (instead of less is more).
We are tiling the kitchen today so hopefully I will be able to put some photos up soon! Maybe I'll be able to fit some more scrapping time in too!

2 New layouts!

I haven't posted any new layouts for ages, because I haven't done any. We are in the middle of a kitchen renovation and everything is covered with sheets for the dust. Hopefully that will be all over within the next week or so and everything can return back to normal. That's now after I after I give the house a spring clean! I've managed to do one layout during the last 3 weeks and I finished off one that I've done before.
This is the new layout I did with some older photos. It's my DS and a friend's DD during a weekend away. She asked DS to help her with her shoes and he patiently obliged! So sweet!
This is the older layout I had to finish off. It's my friend's brand new little baby girl when she was only 5 days old. Too cute!

Another layout for Scrapbooking Top 50's Cyber Crop

This layout had to include an animal/insect somewhere on the layout. It also had to include some doodling. I had these Pink Paislee papers for a while and thought this was a good opportunity to use them! The baby in the photo is my DS when he was 6 months old. That's 16 years ago!
This is a card made from the scraps.

More layouts!

Back again with a couple more layouts and a card.
This layout is one I've done about a month ago and its not for any specific reason - I just had to use these Abbey Road papers from MME. This is for another Cyber Crop Challenge at Scrapbooking Top 50. The layout had to be about New Beginnings. The little boy in the photo belongs to a good friend of mine. He was born at 26 weeks and it's about how remarkable he is in overcoming every challenge and how his birth has touched our lives! A card made with the left-overs!

Competition Layouts

Woohoo! I've got some scrapping done this weekend! Here are some of the pages I've completed!
The Fun with a Tube-layout is based on the second sketch for September over at "Stuck?! Sketches". Just love the Pina Colada range from Kaisercraft.
Daddy's Little Girl is for the Scraplift Challenge at Scrapbook Savvy.
The "Gorgeous Boy" layout is for Scrapbook Savvy's Sketch Challenge. Gotta love these October Afternoon pattern papers and die-cuts!
That's it for now. Will try and add a couple more pages tomorrow. TFL!!

Challenges at Top 50!

This is Challenge One of the Cyber Crop at Top 50! For this challenge you need to create a layout that is 90% white and for the other 10%, you can only use 1 other colour. The technique you need to incorporate into this challenge is an embellishment cluster. Here is my take on it!

I also made a card with the left overs.
This is one of the monthly challenges at Top 50. Your layout has to be done in the Bohemian style. Here's my take:

Scrapbooking Top 50 Cyber Crop now on!

The Spring Fling Cyber Crop has started on Thursday the 10th of September at Scrapbooking Top 50! It kicked of with some fun and games and a Mystery Challenge which was a card with a recessed window. Instructions can be found here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/recessedwindow/
Here is my take on it.
There was also a Mini Mystery Challenge. You had to make your own paper embellishment from scratch. I made a butterfly and used it on my card!
