123 Challenge and a give away!

Happy Easter to all my fabulous blog followers! I hope the easter bunny visited your house and that you are all chocolated out by now! Lol! I know I am. :)
On a scrappy front... I've decided to play along with the 123 Challenge this month. :)  I've always wanted to, but there are only so many days in a month and oh so many challenges! Lol! The criteria this month was to use the colour 'lime green' the word 'really' and to include 'fabric' on your layout.  I found this fun photo of DD and I that was taken about 4 years ago by my gorgeous friend Kathy. I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out.
A little close up of my red fabric. :)

And now for a give away.  My fellow Handmade by Suzanne DT member and very talented Charmane Koch is giving away this fabulous handmade lollipop flower pack. To get all the detail about this giveaway and about Charm's upcoming sale, go here.
That's all for today! Hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend with you families/friends.
Thank you for popping by and for all your lovely comments. I enjoy reading each and every one of them.
Until next time.

Magic!

Don't know about you, but I am over the moon that it's long weekend! I am so looking forward to sleeping in and taking things easy for a couple of days. :)
Just want to share my latest layout with you. It's for a 'Bird Is The Word' challenge and you had to use the word 'Magic' this time.  I've used a photo of myself with DS and DD. These two put the magic in my every day. :)
Oh my goodness, I just love these MME papers from the Stella and Rose 'Mabel' collection. How gorgeous is that woodgrain?!!
I enjoyed making these flowers too. So easy, and I love the effect. :)
A close up of my title. Just love those corrugated alphas from Scrapware. :)
All of the products used are available from 'Handmade by Suzanne'.
That's all for today. Have a fantastic Easter and enjoy your long weekend whatever you do!
Until next time.

And here is my take on the sketch. Lol! Never a dull moment with DS around!  I've used some MME Stella and Rose 'Hattie' pattern papers. Just love this range!!
A close up of the title and some homemade buttons. :)

White with One

I've decided to play along at 'White with One' this month  and the challenge was to use 'White + Olive Green + Twine'. I really love this combo! The die-cut paper I've used is an old one from Crate paper and was just the perfect colour. The doily was a find from one of the Op shops.
My DD had her Year 11 Ball a couple of weekends ago and I was just so happy when I got at least one decent photo to scrap. Lol!! Teenagers aren't the most cooperative beings around. :)
A little flower cluster. The leaves were made using my Martha Stewart frond punch.
A close up of the title and twine bow.
Another little cluster with an added crocheted flower by me. :)
I had so much fun doing this challenge and I think I might become a regular at White with One.
Hope you've had a great week so far. Bring on Friday!!
Thanks for the visit and for your lovely comments. They make my day.
Until next time.

Imagine...

Hi there scrappy friends! Hope you are all having a fantastic weekend! We are having a relatively quiet one. DH and I are just about to go out for dinner to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. Our actual anniversary was on Thursday but DH had a meeting until 7.30, so we decided to celebrate on the weekend. :)
Just got this layout to share quickly. I used my Handmade by Suzanne Dt kit. I first thought that I would find these papers hard to work with, but the more I get into it, the more I love it!  This layout is for a challenge over at  'Bird is the Word'. The challenge was to use the word 'Imagine' on your layout!!  I am planning on doing the next challenge too, using the word 'Magic'.
I've used Bo Bunny 'Gabrielle' pattern papers, stickers and jewels. The bird cage is from Kaisercraft and the chipboard branches, bird, butterfly and flowers are 'Collections' (I think). Most the flowers are Prima and the the blue trim is from Websters. All the product used are available from Handmade by Suzanne.
The pic is of my DD and was originally taken against a brick wall. I decided to cut away the wall and to create my own scene to make it a bit more interesting. :)
I've used my Martha Stewart Vine Trim deep edger punch and the Frond punch to greate all the blue and pinkish leaves.
My cluster of mainly Prima flowers and that gorgeous Webster's trim.
Another close up of some chippy flowers and Kaisercraft pearl flourish.
That's all for today! Got to run! Hope to be back soon to share some more scrappy goodness! Have a fantastic weekend!

Sense of Wonder

I have finally scrapped something! Yay! My DT kit from Handmade by Suzanne was patiently waiting for my while life tried to run away with me... Lol! What a busy couple of weeks we had. It all came to a head last weekend with DD's Year 11 Ball on Friday night and DS's 18th birthday party on Saturday night. Fun was had by all, but boy, am i glad to it all over. :)
I'm entering this layout for the Lollipop Ladies Challenge #17. The colours are just perfect and the extra criteria was to use gloss somewhere on your layout... what better to use than the Bo Bunny jewels that came with this range. I've used Bo Bunny 'Gabrielle' pattern papers, stickers and jewels.
The pic is my friend's little girl who I just adore. All the products for this layout are from Handmade by Suzanne.
I've used Tim Holtz Distress stain 'Weathered Wood' on my bird cage and then covered it in Distress Crackle paint.
For my title, I've stuck old alpha stickers lightly on my page and rubbed distress stain over it. Once dried, I carefully pulled the stickers off.
I've used the Websters Trendsetters trim in 'Blue Tutu'' to make my flower and added a Bo Bunny jewel in the centre.
My whole page were 'edged' with Distress Stain too. I just love this product. It's so versatile!!
That's all for today. I hope to be back with more shares soon. Hope you are having a wonderful week!
Thanks for stopping by. :)
