April Sketch and a Reminder!

Hi everybody! Hope you had a great weekend. I can't believe its almost Easter! Feels like it was just Christmas the other day...
Have you checked out the Handmade by Suzanne April Sketch Challenge yet?  If not, this is what the sketch looks like. Our own Shell did it again! Isn't it gorgeous?

And here is my take on the sketch. Lol! Never a dull moment with DS around!  I've used some MME Stella and Rose 'Hattie' pattern papers. Just love this range!!
A close up of the title and some homemade buttons. :)
So why not give it a go? You can't loose anything... in fact you can win a $30 voucher from HBS plus free postage and the winner gets determined by random draw!  That means anybody can win!!  For some inpiration, check out the DT examples and other entries in the gallery here. :)

This is another layout I made using my DT kit for April. I've used the gorgeous Bo Bunny 'Gabrielle' collection, Prima blossom branches and flower and some Websters trim. I kept it quite plain to keep the focus on this beautiful photo of my mom's youngest sister (taken about 50 years ago). All products used are available at Handmade by Suzanne.
A close up of that gorgeous Prima blossoms branch and Websters trim.
And now for the REMINDER!!
If you haven't done this already and you would like to win one of 10 $20 Vouchers from Handmade by Suzanne, go HERE to find out what you can do to win one of the easiest $20 Vouchers you ever won!! There is only a few days left, so don't wait to long to get your entry in!

Thats it for now! Will be back soon with some more shares!
Thank you so much for visiting. Have a great week!
Until next time!

Gorgeous work (as always) Marelize! Great take on the sketch, I especially like your choice of pps! They look awesome with those pics of DS and the handmade buttons are FAB! Your LO using the BB is gorgeous too. Such a beautiful photo to scrap, the butterflies & branch are the perfect embellishments for it. XXX

Another great sketch and a wonderful take!! The masked star is lovely and what a great line for the photos of your DS. Your homemade buttons are great. I bought a tiny hole punch to give this a try and have yet to do it. Loving the LO with the Gabrielle. It is such a lovely line and is so well suited to this beautiful vintage photo! :)

I was going to ask you where the time between Christmas and now had gone, so I am guessing you don't know either....crazy hey...I just love the layout with DS in them, I really love those striking papers and may just have to get them know I have seen how gorgeous and striking they are. I seem to like papers that I can grunge up, these look awesome. I love the heritage layout too. Hope you and yours are well. Love Melxx
