Scrap the Girls

Talk about just scraping in... Phew! I had this challenge printed out and sitting on my scrappy table waiting to be scrapped for about a week now.  I had the papers, the photo and I just had to do it.  I finally got down to it today and only just in time. :)
It was a colour challenge at Scrap the Girls this month and you had to use the colours Cream/White: Light Pink: Dark Pink and Black. I wanted to do this the first time I saw it on the STG's blog and I'm so glad I did.  The pic is of my DD and one of her very good friends she's had since primary school.
Only one problem. The sun never came out in Perth at all today, so I couldn't get a decent photo. :(   The colours are actually quite different IRL.
A close up of my little cluster. I just love that black rose trim from Handmade by Suzanne.
And another one for good measure. :). Btw, that charm is not suppose to lie so squarish on there. :)
And I'm sorry, I know I've promised pics of my scrap room, but it just didn't work out this week. When it was clean, the light was bad and when it was a mess, the light was good. :(  I promise to give it a huge effort this weekend and hopefully it will be clean and the light will be great all at the same time. Lol!
I'm also still having problems with Blogger on and off. I think most of us are.  So if I haven't left you a comment lately, its not for lack of trying.  I will preservere though!
DS is doing much better. Thank you so much to everyone who send him get well wishes. Very much appreciated.
Got to go and finish cooking dinner now and then tackle some ironing.  That's what happens when you scrap during the day. :)
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Until next time.

Absolutely relate to you my friend, just no time to do everything, blogger is awful, playing up even with a new computer this end, I have to tell you that this layout rocks. I love the scolloped half circles down the side and the colour scheme is beautiful along witht the photo. I have been at work, mojo is lagging, time is not permitting and I am struggling, hope it all falls into some kind of routine soon. Love to you, Melx
