Yeterday I spent a wonderful day with some gorgeous scrappy friends and I managed to complete another layout using my Handmade by Suzanne DT kit. I tried a different (not so formal) style for this one and quite like the way it turned out. :)
I've used Echo Park 'Yours Truly' pattern papers and punched out some hearts. I then filed the edges a bit to go with the whole distressed look. :)
I've used mainly Kaisercraft paper blooms for the cluster and my favourite Martha Stewart 'frond' punch for the leaves. Used an inkpad with the Crafters Workshop 'Cherry Blossoms' template on the white background.

oooh i just adore this marelize! fabulous 'not so formal' page! :) those punched and distressed hearts are just perfect! ikwym about the horrid heat.... we get it here too and now that we are back from hols, the air con will be back into overdrive! lol x

Wow such a beautiful layout of Dad and Daughter. I do love the distressed look you have gone for hun and again the embellishment are lovely. I must say Marelize that's one thing I don't miss about living in OZ is that striking hot weather!!!. Apart from that I love and miss it!!!. Hope you have had a wonderful weekend my friend. Hope that the expected temp isn't reached, a little too warm, but it would be a perfect excuse to scrap!! I have been wearing a jumper most mornings and evenings here, would love it to be a little warmer!

really beautiful...that punch is lov ely too...oh...wro have had weird weather is Sydney...rainy...too often and cloudy and nites too hot...not that im complaining...im not good with the heat...lol...take care...xxx
