BIG changes and a DT call!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope all is good wherever you are. :)  Just the usual house cleaning and washing for me today. :(   I had a lovely day with the girls on Saturday.  Wasn't too productive, but got a few layouts done.  I only have time to share one today though.  Stuck Sketches are celebrating their 5th birthday this month.  I have decided to play along with their #1 Bonus sketch.  Here is the sketch.
... and my take on it.  I've changed the position of my photo as it suits better that way.  I have used the gorgeous Basic Grey 'Clippings' collection from my August DT kit from Handmade by Suzanne.  The pic is of my DS and his 'not so serious attitude' to life, which can be very frustrating at times. Lol!
I love how I could cut up some of the pattern paper to form the chevron pattern.  The alphas for the title are all from the chipboard stickers from this range.
I also tried out my Crafters Workshop 'Chevron' template with some Texture Magic and love it!  So easy to apply!

Now, for some VERY EXCITING NEWS!  Handmade by Suzanne will launch a new website tomorrow and with it also comes a name change.  It will be called 'The Scrapbook Store' from now on.  To add to the excitement, there is a DT Call as well!! We are looking for 2 new DT member to add to our already awesome team of ladies.  Are you interested?  You can find all the detail HERE!  Come on! Give it a go! You never know what can happen! ;)  Make sure you like the new FB page to get all the latest updates and information.
Right, thats all for today!  Thanks for popping by and for the lovely comments. Hope to see you at your blog soon!
Until next time.

The chevron really is striking - pretty neat title, too - & he does have a sparkle in his eye, doesn't he? He's got the idea, I reckon...great way to look at life:):):)
