What a beautiful day it was in Perth today! I am loving the milder weather and a bit of soft rain added on the side. :) Just want to share a layout I did based on the
1st April sketch over at
Stuck Sketches. I love playing along at Stuck whenever I get the chance. Here is the sketch.
My take on it, using the
Simple Stories 'Vintage Bliss' collection. Love the colours in this collection! The photo is of my my mum, myself and DD taken in 2008. As we don't see my parents very often, this was indeed a very special moment. :)
All the flowers were cut from one of the sheets of patterned paper in this collection and the
little birdhouse is from Dusty Attic.
I've also used my newly purchased
Prima 'Damask' stencil and some
Texture Magic to create a bit of interest on the background.
I'll be back soon with more creations using this beautiful collection.

The masking looks sensational popping out there and the colours just pop against that background paper.
