Blue Fern Studios 'Timeless' for The Scrapbook Store

Just wanted to grab this short break in my schedule to share my February DT work for The Scrapbook Store. Wow! It's almost the end of March I hear you say!!  I know, the first few months of 2016 have been so very busy already and I've got so much more planned for the rest of the year! :)
Okay, straight to the point then. ;)  I got to work with the stunning new Blue Fern Studios 'Timeless' collection.  The first layout is of my gorgeous girl and I. She was busy taking selfies of the two of us during our recent holiday, when my husband snapped this pic of us. :)
I simply love this 'Floral Arrows Crossed' chipboard from Your Creative Wings. I've coloured it up using my ink pads and then added some muslin and a few mini roses to the mix.
Here I've built a little cluster using more of the same elements and the same chipboard set, but also added a charm and a Kaisercraft bloom.  I've added some Prima 'Micro Beads' in Bronze using Prima '3D Matte Gel'.  The butterfly was cut from one of the patterned papers.
The title is from the Dusty Attic 'Mini Captions #3' chipboard set.  I love these gorgeous small titles.

More roses in all forms and sizes, repeating elements from the other clusters.
The following layout is of my dear mum and I during our visit to them in December.  We live more than 9000 km apart and every moment spent together is perfect and very precious.
My cluster are made out of Petaloo 'Forget Me Nots' in Antique Mauve and a big Green Tara 'Azalea' in Antique Pink. I've also added Craft Consortium resin florals in 'Rose Blush' and a few white Green Tara mini roses.  I've cut the leaves from one of the patterned papers using the Memory Box 'Fresh Foliage' die.
I've fussy cut some flowers from one of the papers to add to the bottom left corner. Also added a strip of Green Tara lace and a Kaisercraft pearl strip underneath the photo. :)
One of my favourite doily dies must be this one from Cheery Lynn called 'French Pastry'.  It complemented the rest of the design and all I had to do was add the title.
This card was made using some of my left overs.  I love adding corrugated cardboard to my projects and it perfectly matched these papers and the gorgeous Green Tara 'Linen Look' trim.  The sentiment was cut using the Elzabeth Craft Design 'Happy Birthday' die.
That's all I have for now, but will be back to share my March layouts soon. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog. Wishing you a wonderful Easter.

Until next time.

Lemoncraft 'House of Roses' for The Scrapbook Store

Hi there scrappy friends. I haven't been around for a long time now, but I think it's time to start blogging again! I have been busy with all sorts of 'life' things and scrapbooking and blogging had become a bit of a 'time luxury'.  This year will definitely bring some changes for me and I hope it will be mostly good changes. My motto for 2016 is to 'live everyday with intention'. :)

I have had the fortunate opportunity to design with the gorgeous new Lemoncraft 'House of Roses' collection for The Scrapbook Store last month.  I absolutely adore this range... it's so feminine and pretty.
I'm sorry, but I have to warn you... this is a looong post! :)
All my photos were taken during our holiday in December. Nothing like new photos to make you feel like scrapping hey?!
My flower cluster consists out of Petaloo Teastained Cream Dahlias, Green Tara Antique Pink Azaleas, and Green Tara mini roses,  I've also added some fussy cut flowers and leaves as well as small pieces of Dusty Attic 'Wrought Iron Fence Border' into my clusters
I have used a beautiful chopboard title from 2Crafty.
The background was prepared using the Crafters Workshop 'Mini Art Is' template with Golden Light Molding Paste.  I like how subtle it is.
I love the Scrapmatts 'Lamps 11' chipboard... it created just the right 'atmosphere' that I was after.  All that was left to do was to add a few pieces of Green Tara lace and I was done with this one. :)
The following layout futures my beautiful girl again. So easy when you've got a gorgeous subject. xx

My flower clusters consist out of Green Tara 'Fantasy blooms', 2 Crafty 'Mini Branches' chipboard and I've also added some  Blue Fern 'Shabby Brick Bits' chipboard that I covered in one layer of gesso.
A sweet little tag from the collection featuring a butterly and some natural twine.
Two more flower clusters and a bit of Green Tara lace.
My third layout featuring my daughter, my mum and myself.  Very special times. :)
I've created some texture on my background using a Prima stencil and Golden Light Molding Paste.
My title is from the Dusty Attic 'Mini Captions #3' chipboard set. I have heat-embossed it using Stampendous 'Frantage Shabby Pink' embossing powder.
My clusters feature Prima flowers, Green Tara leaves and mini roses, as well as Blue Fern 'Chelsea Vines' which I coloured up using Luminartes Silks Acrylics Glazes.

I have also added some of the Blue Fern 'Jeweled Page Dangles' chipboard which I heat-embossed using the Stampendous 'Frantage Shabby White' embossing powder.
The piece of chippie under the photo is the 2 Crafty 'Formal Flourish 3' which was also heat-embossed using Stampendous Frantage Shabby Pink' embossing powder.
.
I also made 3 cards with the left-over papers and tags.  The sentiment on the first one was cut using a Elizabeth Craft 'Thank You' die.  I finished it off using natural twine, Green Tara mini roses and Tim Holtz Distress ink.
I tried to create a patchwork effect on my second card. I added a sentiment using the Elizabeth Craft 'Happy Birthday' die, and also added natural twine, Green Tara mini roses, charms and a button.
The last card was pretty simple as I used one of the tags as my main element and just add a  Green Tara mini rose and natural twine.  I distressed the edges of the background paper before adding a piece of Green Tara lace. The sentiment was stamped using the Hero Arts 'It's your Day' stamp set before adding it the background paper.
Phew! What a massive post. I hope you could make it to the end.  If you did, I have to congratulate and thank you for your endurance! I really appreciate your support and hope that I could inspire you in some or other way.
Hope to see you soon on the www. Have a fabulous day!
