Beautiful Bride

If you have missed my GIVEAWAY, you will find it HERE.

Hi everyone! Today I want to share the April Sketch Challenge at The Scrapbook Store with you.  Here is the sketch. Gorgeous hey?
My example using the beautiful Prima 'Tea-Thyme' collection (currently on special in the Prima Clearance section of the shop).  The photo is of my aunt on her wedding day, nearly 58 years ago.  I wanted to create a bit of a romantic vintage feel. :)

My little cluster.  I've used an old crocheted doily, a little Prima resin window, some flowers and buttons from the Tea-Thyme collection, Kaisercraft mini paper blooms and I have made two of the roses using my Die-namics Mini Royal Rose dies. The rose leaves were punched from one of the patterned papers using my Martha Stewart 'Rose Leaf' punch.  The cream crocheted lace is from Green Tara and the strip underneath was punched using one of my Martha Stewart border punches .  Just added a row or Kaisercraft 'pearl strips' to finish it off.
A close up of my other little cluster. More Prima flowers and a heart button, finished of with leaves that I cut using the Cheery Lyn 'Pair of Ferns' die.

I'm hoping you will get a chance to play along. There is a $40 store voucher up for grabs and it includes free postage. The winner gets detemined by random draw, so all you have to do, is enter!! Just upload your entry into the correct folder in the gallery before the end of April.  You can find inspiration from the rest of the DT members here.

That's all for today.  Thank you for popping by.  Have a happy happy week!
Until next time.
