Scrap Africa has the new sketch up for December. For my example. I've decided to start with a blank piece of chipboard. Very unlike me to be so brave. ;)
I first covered my chipboard with a layer of gesso and once dried I've added some dimension using my 12 x 12 Prima 'Checker' mask and some texture paste. Before lifting the stencil I sprayed some Heidi Swapp Color Shine 'Seafoam' over it. I created my drips and circle 'stains' using the Lindy Stamp Gang 'Buccaneer Bronze' mist. All the paper are from the Marion Smith 'Nirvana' collection - one of my most favourite ranges ever! The photo is of my grandfather who passed away in 1985. I am planning on getting more information about his life to add to this layout.
WOW mini chipboard title.
Baroque Art 'Inca Gold' Gilders Paste onto the edges to 'age' it a bit. I did the same with my chipboard title. Love how it turned out. The rest of the clocks and the butterfly were fussy cut from one of the papers in the Marion Smith 'Nirvana' collection.
Splash of Color 'Book pages'.
I would love to see your take on the sketch! You have until the 14th of December to get your entries in.
That's all I have for today. Thank you so much for popping in! Have a wonderful week!
Until next time.
