Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog. I apologise for my long absence. I've taken a little break from most things crafty as I had a few things that needed my attention. It's the first time I took time away from scrapbooking in 12 years, but now I am back and hopefully ready for another 12 years!
The first thing I want to share with you is the March Sketch Challenge at
The Scrapbook Store.
Here is my take on it. I've used the gorgeous new
Simple Stories 'I am' collection.
A close up showing some of the texture I've created using the
Tim Holtz 'Dot Fade' stencil and texture paste.
I've cut the flowers from one of the patterned papers and also added stamping using the
Kaisercraft 'Grid' texture stamp with black Staz On ink.
The butterfly is from the
'Bits & Pieces' packet from this collection. I've added some
Clearsnap Smooch Glitz 'Frost' to create a bit of shine.
I hope you get a chance to play along. There is a $40 store voucher up for grabs and it also includes free postage. The winner gets determined by random draw, so anyone can win.
